RapiGo Mobility Technologies Ltd. ("RapiGo", "we", "us") values your privacy and is dedicated to securing your personal information in strict compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, Information Technology Act, 2000, and related transport telematics regulations.

1. Data We Collect

• Identity Data: Name, phone number, vehicle category, and role credentials.
• Driver Verification Data: Government Driving License number (DL), vehicle registration certificate (RC), and KYC document status.
• Precise Geolocation: Continuous GPS coordinates collected during active trip navigation and duty sessions to compute fares, calculate ETAs, match nearby captains, and enable emergency SOS response.
• Communications: Masked in-app chat transcripts and customer support logs for trip safety and dispute resolution.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is processed strictly for legitimate operational purposes: dispatching nearest available Captains, calculating precise turn-by-turn routing distances, processing payment settlements, verifying road safety gear, and facilitating 112 emergency broadcasts.

3. PII Masking & Data Minimization

We practice proactive data minimization:

• Rider and Captain mobile numbers are masked by default across operational interfaces (e.g. 9000••••10).
• Drivers cannot see Rider personal contact numbers directly; communications are conducted via masked in-app channels.
• Access to unmasked identification in administrative desks is strictly audit-logged with timestamp and operator identity.

4. Emergency Telemetry & Location Sharing

When a Rider triggers an emergency SOS or uses the "Share Live Trip" feature, real-time vehicle GPS coordinates and driver credentials are transmitted securely to designated emergency contacts, central safety response teams, and public safety answering points (112).

5. Data Retention & Erasure

Trip logs and financial transaction ledgers are retained for the statutory period required under Indian taxation and motor vehicle laws. Users may request account deletion and data anonymization by contacting our Data Protection Officer at privacy@myut.space.
